PLAYER BIO
Ben began his career at La Mirada Little League when he was nine years old. After playing a few years of Pony baseball Ben preped at La Mirada High School. Ben was a three year varsity starter and in 1996 he led the Matadores to a C.I.F. Championship. Ben was named C.I.F. Player of the Year after throwing a complete game in the Finals. After high school Ben played locally at NAIA powerhouse Biola University. During his time at Biola Ben was a two time NAIA All-American and led the Eagles to 3 Conference Championships. In 2001 Ben helped lead Biola to its first NAIA World Series in School history. Ben signed a professional contract before the June Draft as a 5th Year Free Agent. He was also offered contracts with the Florida Marlins, Colorado Rockies, and the Seattle Mariners. Ben has offered private pitching instruction in the Southern California area since 2001 and has taught hundreds of pitching lessons.

Sam was a two-time 1st Team all C.I.F. shortstop at La Mirada H.S. After La Mirada Sam chose to follow a long-standing family tradition and play baseball for Biola University in La Mirada, CA. While at Biola, Sam broke the record for homeruns in a season with 24 and as a sophomore was named 1st Team NAIA All-American while hitting .407 and posting 75 RBI. Following his sophomore season, Sam was rated the NAIA's #1 prospect for the 2004 M.L.B. draft. In June of 2004 he was drafted in the 8th round by the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2005 he was selected to the South Atlantic League All-star team and finished the season with 12 homeruns and 64 RBI's. From 2004-2006 Orr continued to climb the prospect list with the Phillies until he was side-lined with shoulder surgery. He went on to play one final season in The Frontier League where he led his team with a .309 batting average. Sam spent the 2008 season as the assistant coach for La Mirada High School and has been teaching private hitting instruction for the last 5 years.
